Gnarly Little Christmas Craft Fair

Florence Filberg Centre

Courtenay Recreation is hosting the Gnarly Little Christmas Craft Fair at the Florence Filberg Centre on Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Every year the craft fair showcases talented youth aged 9-19 years. Vendors will be selling their wares, including baking, art, crafts, fibre arts, jewellery, woodwork and more. Children's Christmas Party

The holiday season is right around the corner, and families are invited to help us celebrate the magic in the air at the annual Children’s Christmas Party on Saturday, December 6. Courtenay Recreation staff are as busy as Santa’s elves preparing for this year’s party, which will be packed with festive fun, joyful activities and a special visit from Santa Claus himself. The celebrations kick off at 11:00 a.m. and run until 1:00 p.m. and are for children 9 years and under accompanied by an adult.

Join us for the Villagers’ Winter Solstice on Sunday December 21st. This free event welcomes Villagers and friends to #6 park to celebrate the sacred mystery and beauty of the still point of the year, the joy of community, and the return of the sun, which is celebrated by cultures across the Northern Hemisphere on this day. The event is co-created by multiple organizations, creatives and volunteers from Cumberland and beyond! Costumes welcome!
